Washington County Bantums U8 Fastpitch Softball team takes 2nd place at Kaukauna Spooktacular Fall Softball Tournament over the weekend. Losing only to the 2014 U8 National Champions Kaukauna Ghosts.
The team was put together this summer by Jim Kirsch and Andy Voss. They were only able to get 3 practices in as a team, and this tournament was the first games they ever played as a team.
After getting a #6 seed, out of 9 teams, they beat the #3 Seed 14-1 and the #2 Seed 7-1 to make it to the championship game.
