The audacity of Reid Snedaker!
Audacity is defined as impudence, a lack of respect, excessive boldness in someone’s behavior toward another person.
Dan Neu is quoted, “When it comes time to vote on the contract, I’ve always recused myself.” If Reid wants to verify Dan’s statement, check the minutes of Village Board meetings.
What happens if every board member recused themselves when approving the annual Richfield budget:
■ Dan Neu might not vote, as president of the Richfield Volunteer Fire Company.
■ John Jeffords might not vote, he works for a sister company of Payne and Dolan. He recuses himself for road maintenance bids.
■ Bill Collins might not vote, a member of Richfield Historical Society and it can be in the budget. He recused himself recently regarding St. Gabriel School. Bill is on two of the church’s committees.
■ Sandy Voss might not vote, she is involved with Richfield baseball and soccer. They can request items for parks.
■ Rock Brandner might not vote, as a Richfield Lions member. They might again donate a shelter for Richfield’s parks.
I believe Reid’s complaint is political. Sadly, Reid does not respect the effort Richfield’s trustees devote in community activities. Sadly, Reid is not involved in community activities. Sadly, Reid does not see positives in Richfield trustees.
In conclusion, Reid is impudent. He’s shown a lack of respect, with excessively bold behavior, lodging this complaint. Hopefully Bensen finds better things to do than respond to this frivolous complaint.
