Below is the original letter given to RT.
Recently I read an article in the Sept. 2016 issue of the American Rifleman magazine titled Hillary Clinton Bends Reason, Calling Gun Control a Civil Rights Issue. The article states, 'Inspired by the staged "sit-in" for gun-control conducted by Democrats in the House of Representatives the week of June 20, Hillary Clinton, during a campaign speech in Chicago a week later, said, "Saving [people] from gun violence is a civil rights issue."
Is that confusing to you?
Merriam Webster defines civil rights as: the nonpolitical rights of a citizen; especially: the rights of personal liberty guaranteed to United States citizens by the 13th and 14th amendments to the Constitution and by acts of Congress. How does Hillary Clinton reason those rights are a kin to gun violence is a civil rights issue?
The article continues by stating, "Of course, Clinton doesn't see the obvious contradiction in her statement when her object is to attack and undermine the Second Amendment protected right of law-abiding citizens at every turn."
Is there anyone out there who believes that gun violence is a civil rights issue? Reverend Martin Luther King who led the civil rights issue would be appalled if he heard what Hillary Clinton is trying to reason.
It is time for those who want to vote for Hillary Clinton to re-examine why they think she would support the U.S. Constitution and your Second Amendment rights.
A vote for Donald Trump is a vote to keep your Second Amendment rights.
