10/14/2016

Hubertus/Freistadt Road and STH 175 Closure NotificationThe contractor is in the process of completing storm sewer next week.
The intersection re-opening will depend on the progress of the curb & gutter and the weather next week. Plan on using the routes listed below. Continue to patronize the locals as best you can.

Once curb & gutter is complete, there will be two more closures of the intersection. One when placing asphalt pavement, and the other when placing pavement marking.

Access routes to businesses:
-Piggly Wiggly and the strip mall on the east side of STH175 - Access from the south on STH 175 to the Pig driveway. Access from the east using Freistadt Road.
-Citgo Gas Station, Richfield Car Company – Access from the east using Freistadt Road.
-Sterling Chalet & Subway/Hair Formations Strip Mall on the west side of STH 175 Access from the south on STH 175.
-Businesses on Beechwood Industrial Court – Access from the south on STH 175.
-Richfield Plaza businesses, BMO Harris Bank, First National Bank – Access from the west on Hubertus Road.
-Residents & businesses located north of the intersection will continue to access from the north.
-Day Care School Bus/Riteway – Access to Freistadt Road going east or STH 175 going south.

-Aurora Health Center – Access from the west on Hubertus Road.

FYI, Yesterday and today (10/14), I was able to get through the E-W intersection from Hubertus Rd to the Pig and back, w/o the longer detours.
