Stephanie submitted a comment on " Hacked By Who" yesterday which included a link to an Express News article about elections in Richfield.
In the article Gil Frank was interviewed by the writer noting and then saying:
He noted that the current board has five members and the quorum for making decisions is three members.
"A majority of that is two members. This means that decisions like municipal sewer and water, or a new fire station, can be made by as few as two board members."
Is someone with that logic someone you want making decision for Richfield or for Washington County?
So, if Jeff Gonyo's buddies, Gil Frank, Reid Snedaker, Danah, Zoulek, and others had been elected in the past they would have had a similar opportunity to get boating rules passed or taken away for Lake 5? They would have denied various subdivisions? They would have approved the Scenic Pit request for a landfill?
Do you think if they had been elected Jeff Gonyo would have worked so hard to get these referendums on the ballot? What is this nonsense? Is this someone you really want to elect for Village Trustee or County Supervisor?
My oh my, what has happened in Richfield? Oh yes, we have Jeff Gonyo trying to take control. Oh yes, Gil Frank is bringing up the bogus Jeff Gonyo idea and tactic of municipal sewer and water. THIS IS OLD NEWS..
Gil get into today or should we go back to the Richfield Village Board meeting of December 2011 when you were publicaly exposed as writing on the Richfield Village Facebook page under an alias of Tony Franken. You were at the meeting so you cannot deny these facts. Some of your comments are still on Richfield Village Facebook page and anyone can see them by searching back to 2011 posts on Richfield Village facebook.
All this should be enough for Richfield Residents to not want to elect the Jeff Gonyo buddies. That is what should have been written in that article. Not a mostly one sided article.
Below are screen shots of the current Richfield Village Facebook page with posting done in 2011. It still contains some of Gil Frank's comments as Tony Franken. He had a picture of him and and a young child and when it was noted in the postings that he was posing as Tony Franken he quickly removed the pictures. If you click on Tony Franken's page you can see where the pictures were changed.
Is this what you want in an elected official, no matter who it is?
