Elect Rick Gundrum January 16th

Here is a letter to the editor that was published in the Washington County Daily News on Saturday January 6, 2018.

No Doubt: Gundrum is best for 58th District.

Beyond a doubt, Rick Gundrum is the most qualified candidate for the 58th State Assembly District office. I want to go on record as endorsing Rick Gundrum for State Representative. I learned Rick is a long time Washington County resident who offered service to his home community as a Slinger Trustee and the residents of Washington County as a County Supervisor. He also currently serves as County Board Chairman. As a representative of the 58th district I know he will represent you the same way he has represented residents at local and county  levels.

While on the county board Rick found ways to reduce government spending yet keep services high. Rick supported priority based budgeting and supported the  county health merger between Washington and Ozaukee Counties which saved money for taxpayers in both counties. Washington County has the lowest tax rate since 1918.

As a fiscal conservative, Rick understands government has grown too big. Rick will advocate for bold, conservative reforms to shrink government's footprint. Rick is a man of integrity. There are many issues to consider when supporting a candidate and as a mother of 2 and grandmother of 4 Pro-Life issues are important to me. Rick is the only candidate endorsed by Wisconsin Family Action, Pro-Life Wisconsin & Wisconsin Right to Life.
I ask you to vote and ELECT Rick Gundrum to 58th WI Assembly District on January 16th and show how RED Washington County is. Let's get at least a 70% turnout for Rick Gundrum.

The democrat running is really not a long time resident of the 58th. Just keep this in mind when voting
