Richfield residents had to learn the true reasons or hidden agendas behind the maverick candidates who wanted to become part of Richfield's government. It is so easy for someone to say "We want more citizen involvement" But no one is missing the fact that once elected the "citizen" candidate is no longer just a citizen but part of local government making decisions on behalf of all Richfield residents.
The petitions recently circulated is just another wrinkle in the coat worn by local political activists to stir up local residents. Most registered voters in Richfield know the facts about the former maverick candidates so this post will not reiterate those facts.
Now let's consider the federal level.
No better article could have been written recently about double talk than Christian Schneider's "Feingold's campaign finance double talk" article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Crossroads on August 30th, 2015.
Just as Richfield residents had to learn for themselves the double talk locally, anyone who wants to learn the double talk of Russ Feingold should take some time to read this article.
Would someone say the smoke screen that Feingold has created is familiar to current activities in Richfield?
