Chairman Herb Tennies held court for the last day. He had served his constituents for 50 years. Congrats Herb.
Supervisor Rick Gundrum took over as County Board Chairman. Congrats Rick.
Rock Brandner was sworn in as a new County Supervisor. Congrats Rock.
Supervisor Don Kriefall explained the Washington County Board reorganized today after the April election reduced our board size from 30-26. My fellow supervisors have entrusted me to lead the Public Safety Committee as chairperson and elected me to 2nd Vice Chair of the County Board. I will do my best to continue to earn the trust of the people of Washington County and keep the county moving forward. Public Safety has always been my highest priority and I am looking forward to ensuring that the citizens of Washington County continue to receive the best services that we can provide. Congrats Don.
