z2 EARNS REGIONAL AWARD FOR SAFEHOUSE MENU
Spy-themed menu wins second award for creativity

Waukesha, Wis. – April 17, 2017 – Competing against other Midwest advertising firms, z2 earned a prestigious Silver ADDY Award for its SafeHouse Milwaukee restaurant menu design.

The award was presented during the District 8 American Advertising Awards (ADDY®) awards ceremony held April 7 at the Lumber Exchange Building in Minneapolis. z2 previously won a gold ADDY award for the menu in the state American Advertising Federation (AAF) awards competition. AAF is a national trade association for advertising, marketing and communications professionals.

The ADDY® awards are the nation's largest advertising competition. Each year the competition begins at the local level with 210 American Advertising Federation (AAF) organizations across the country. Entries must first be submitted in a local competition to be eligible for the American Advertising Awards (ADDY®) process. The local winners advance to one of the 14 regional district competitions, and District winners advance to the national finals. The American Advertising Awards (ADDY®) national judging is held in early June in conjunction with the AAF National Conference to be held in New Orleans.

“z2 is honored to have received this ADDY award for our work with SafeHouse Milwaukee and Marcus Hotels & Resorts,” said Debra Zindler, z2 creative director and principal. “The menu was a fun way to introduce a new brand for the renovated SafeHouse Milwaukee, and I’m proud of our creative team's outstanding work.”

“We absolutely love how this design turned out. The z2 team instinctively knew that a menu for a spy restaurant brand had to be unusual and cheeky,” stated Christine Williams, senior director of marketing for Marcus Hotels, “but it still needed to function like a regular menu. They really transformed it into an imaginative and fun menu that our customers love.”
