At 2 pm the parade of apparatus came down Hwy 164 then turned onto Hubertus Road to their new home. A few fire vehicles also arrived from Station 1 located on Hwy 175.
Attached pictures show the Apparatus Bays, Training Room, Day Room/Kitchen, and Residential Area and the historic 1927 Studebaker fire engine.
RVFC President Dan Neu said, "We toured many fire department stations over the past years which helped RVFC finally design this building. We designed it looking forward to the future with 6 residential rooms and added bays if in the future we need additional vehicles".
RVFC Fire Chief Terry Kohl noted, "This was not our Open House, that will happen later in the year. We actually had a call within 5 minutes of our Change of Quarters and all went well".
To all the Richfield Volunteer Fire Company members we say, Thank You for Serving Richfield residents.
