Paul Bugenhagen Jr for Court of Appeals

10/26/2019

Paul Bugenhagen Jr. is a candidate for Judge in District II Court of Appeals which includes residents of Richfield. Election date is April 7, 2020.

He has a strong conservative judicial philisophy and will uphold our laws and Consiitution as they are wrtten. He currently serves on the Waukesha County Circuit Court, is a family man and hard worker who looks at this election as an opportunity to be a positive influence and keep Wisconsin a great place to live, work and raise a family.

His opponent is Lisa Neubauer. Paul has the experience to replace liberal Judge Lisa Neubaurer, the same person who ran against Brian Hagedorn for Supreme Court Justice recently. She aggressively attacked Judge Brian Hagedorm for this faith and his desire to uphold the constitution.

Consider voting for Judge Paul Bugenhagen Jr for Court of Appeals.

Which Danah Zoulek is Richfield Candidate?

3/28/2019

An article in March 28, 2019 Daily News about Washington County Board proposing a potential sand mine in Heritage Park located in Town of Polk brought forth an interesting comment by Candidate Zoulek.  She is the owner of Scenic Pit in Richfield that will potentially bring truck after truck of fill to the old pit on Scenic Rd.  She is not worried about contaminating groundwater in Richfield, but she also writes about her concerns about the groundwater in Town of Polk.

Danah Zoulek wrote that the “foolhardy and dangerous” proposal could lead to contaminated groundwater.......  Source: Daily News 3/28/19.

Voters in Richfield need to know these facts about Candidate Zoulek. On one hand she writes it would be "foolhardy and dangerous" for Town of Polk residents yet she has no concerns about Richfield residents? As a Richfield resident how do you feel?

SALARIES are OUT OF CONTROL?

3/15/2019

SALARIES are OUT OF CONTROL! The Richfield Village Board gave our administrator (Jim Healy) a three-year cushy employment contract costing Richfield taxpayers more than $127,000 per year when other villages pay MUCH LESS for their administrators.....
Source: 2019 Campaign flier for Candidate Danah Zoulek

This Richfield Today article will focus only on Salary and Benefits because that impacts your taxes. and addresses SALARIES are OUT OF CONTROL!

Note the campaign flier for Candidate Danah Zoulek indicates more than $127,000  when the total really is less than that. Granted not by much but did she need to make an exaggeration rather than state the facts?

Salary Law and Legal Definition
Salary is financial compensation an employee receives for performing the job and part of an employee compensation package. Zoulek chose to use "SALARIES" as most people know contracts include more than just a SALARY, it includes benefits. By using SALARIES perhaps one might assume total benefit package is more than $127,000. When the facts are missing, that could create an assumption that might make one angry, WITHOUT THE FACTS you might vote for Candidate Zoulek.

Zoulek challenges Jeffords for Richfield village president

3/8/2019

That could be the headline of an article in this year's Daily News or the Times Press but it is the headline of an article published April 2nd, 2017 in the Times Press.

Many Richfield residents recently received a 2019 Danah Zoulek campaign flier written negatively about the Richfield Village Board listing the following issues:

TAXES are OUT OF CONTROL
SPENDING is OUT OF CONTROL
SALARIES are OUT OF CONTROL
UNETHICAL CONDUCT is OUT OF CONTROL

Nice wording if only the facts were there

Hopefully this Richfield Today article will have you think about which Zoulek candidate makes sense, 2017 or 2019.

Call and Support Border Wall

1/17/2019

ACTION ALERT:

President Trump is right.  We want to welcome immigrants who will be law abiding, productive members of society that will appreciate our founding principles. In order to ensure this, we must secure our border and this includes a border “wall/fence” and other measures.

Not only are drugs pouring across our southern border but uncontrolled border crossings allow gang members, criminals and possibly terrorists into our country.  In addition caravans of thousands are being encouraged by activists and/or human traffickers to overwhelm our border.

The President listened to those who are working at the border and who live or work near the border to understand what we need and this is why he is pushing for the “wall/fence”. In the past, democrats have openly supported border security and voted to fund a border fence.

Let’s stand with the President and Republicans who are standing strong to get funding for the border “wall/fence”. Please contact Senators Baldwin and Johnson as well as Senators Schumer and McConnell and to contact Representative Sensenbrenner and and McCarthy to let them know that you want funding for the “wall/fence” and you want it now.  Tell the democrats that you hold them accountable for the partial government shutdown. Tell the Republicans to stand strong.  Tell them to approve funding to secure the border NOW!

Be respectful and be brief but let your voice be heard on this issue.  It really does matter. Contact information below.  Either call or use the link to access email information.

PS – Rep. Sensenbrenner co-sponsored the BUILD WALL Act to use money seized from the Mexican Drug Cartels for border security.

And Rep. Grothman co-sponsored the No Work Without Pay Act while Sen. Johnson co-sponsored the Shutdown Fairness Act – these bills would pay federal employees who are essential and continue to work during the government “shutdown” so they do not have to wait to be paid.

Elect Judge Brian Hagedorn to WI Supreme Court

1/16/2019

Today many people received an email from Judge Brian Hagedorn. A copy is found here.

Friend,
In 1942, Desmond Doss joined the U.S. Army to help support the war effort.  As a Seventh Day Adventist, however, he would not carry a gun or engage in violence.  Doss’s officers tried to force him to give in or get out; Doss was persecuted, made fun of, and even beaten.  But he would not give in.  He was a patriot, and he was a man of principle.  Eventually, during the Battle of Okinawa, at a place the 96th Infantry Division called Hacksaw Ridge, Doss bravely risked his life to save the lives of 75 of his fellow soldiers. As a result of his heroism, he became the first conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor.
