Beany's Drive Thru

11/24/2015

Beany's Drive Thru - Long Beach, Ca - 1952-53
The 50’s were the best years.
Notice the cooks at the drive-in, no gloves handling the food.
How did we survive??

Yep it's fun to watch, even Mr. "McDonalds," Ray Kroc, walking up in a suit and tie to buy a burger.

Notice the DRIVE UP window speaker to order..... 1953!!
This is great to watch if only for the cars and the clothes.

For those too young to remember, sit back and enjoy an easy time of life.

THE BEST SLAVE IS ONE WHO THINKS HE IS FREE...

Saul Alinsky died about 43 years ago, but his writings influenced those in political control of our nation today.......

Recall that Hillary did her college thesis on his writings and Obama writes about him in his books.

Follow up on Richfield Village Board meeting Nov. 19

11/20/2015

This is a follow-up to yesterdays post noting two items on the Village Board meeting Nov. 19th. Those items are the 2016 village budget and Scenic Pit appeal.

The village board voted to approve the 2016 budget which is a $0.01 reduction per $1,000 of a homeowners property value. More importantly they allocated more money for road improvements next year, up to $700,000. They also included a new bridge in the Nature park, and new plow truck. So sad that a Town of Polk resident Jeff Gonyo can speak negatively regarding the Village of Richfield's budget.

Richfield Village Board Meeting Nov 19th

You might want to attend tonight's Village Board meeting to learn about the 2016 village budget and hear a report on the Scenic Pit Appeal.

Scenic Pit LLC. vs. Village of Richfield et. al., Case No. 2015CV000374. Looks like Danah is willing to spend some of your tax money on this law suit. Sounds similar to the antics of Jeff Gonyo. Oh yes, that is not a surprise. They are the best of buddies.
