This weekend promises to be ideal apple picking weather (Cortland and Macoun for Pick Your Own)!  Starting Saturday they will have 2 freshly ripened varieties available in the store (SnowSweet & Macoun) as well as pre-picked pumpkins!

School Districts Move Closer to Merger

9/13/2017

September 12th was the final day for people in the community to file a petition demanding a referendum regarding merger of Friess Lake School District and Richfield Joint School District.  Since nothing was filed, the consolidation officially takes effect July 1, 2018. The two school boards had a joint board meeting Monday night, and will have at least one a month from now until the April election when the new board will be elected.

While there will be some issues to decide along the way, we remain convinced that this is the right thing to do, and are excited for the future.
