Ralph A. Kohl passed away April 16, 2018 at the age of 94. His beloved wife was the late Dorothy Kohl. He was a lifetime member of Richfield Historical Society, Richfield Volunteer Fire Company and Richfield Lions Club.
He was a kind and generous man and will be missed by many in Richfield and Germantown. Are you interested in Washington county’s deer management decisions? Do you want your input heard? Then read on...
County Deer Advisory Councils have developed their preliminary recommendations and they are open for public input through April 12. This online public comment form can be found at dnr.wi.gov, keyword "CDAC." Here, you’ll find both your county’s preliminary recommendations and the online survey. Preliminary recommendations include antlerless deer quota, permit level, and season structure for the 2018 deer hunting season. After the public input period closes April 12, CDACs will hold their final meetings to review the input and develop final recommendations. All meetings are open to the public and provide the opportunity for attendees to address the council. Meeting details for each county can be found at keyword "CDAC." "Over the past year, facts have emerged that suggest there was a plot by high-ranking FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) officials in the Obama administration, acting under color of law, to exonerate Hillary Clinton of federal crimes and then, if she lost the election, to frame Donald Trump and his campaign for colluding with Russia to steal the presidency. This conduct was not based on mere bias, as has been widely claimed, but rather on deeply felt animus toward Trump and his agenda."
That is the beginning paragraph of the February 2018 • Volume 47, Number 2 issue of Imprimis published by Hillsdale College, written by Joseph E. diGenova, Former U.S. Attorney. If you do not know who to vote for call the candidates and ask which school board they currently represent and why you should vote for them.
Check this site to see the ballot and candidates. Call them and talk with them. Also If you live in Wash County Supervisor District 23 be mindful that Jennifer Guslick lives in the Town of Germantown with a Richfield address. Currently a Town of Germantown Supervisor. If she wins Germantown will have 4 County Supervisors representing Germantown and Richfield will just have 2. Also this past Friday her husband announced he is a candidate for Washington County Sheriff in the fall. It is quite possible she will have to recuse herself for the Sheriff budget as she would personally benefit from his salary. That still needs to be determined. Time to Vote. |
