The Sudz car wash in Menomonee Falls on Hwy 175 and Q had cars backed up to the street at 3 p m this afternoon.  Went in to get the dirt and salt cleaned off the car and bought the cheapest wash, total with under body wash was $7.00.

Asked the fellow how many cars had come through so far and he said 1, 191. If you average that per hour result is 149/hour. Multiply that by 14 hours as they are open today from 7 am till 9 pm, they could take in $14,602.  Nice for one day.

There is a lot of controversy around guns and the registration of guns on a national data base.  Check this video and hopefully this will not happen to residents of the United States of America.

Donna  Loew R.I.P

Donna Lowe passed away Monday February 22, 2016 and many who live in Richrield will truly miss her. She was one of the most friendly persons you could meet and she always greated you with a simile.

Donna operated Donna's Tap for more than 47 years. She took over ownership and management of the tavern after her parents passed away. They built the tavern in the mid 1930's. Donna often talked of the many changes she saw occur in Richfield over the years.

In addition to spending time with Donna at the Tap, many will know her as the friendly check-out lady at Piggly Wiggly in Richfield.

Visitation at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Mass at 1 p.m. February. 29 at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church on Hwy 164.

R.I.P. Donna.

News has it that Rock Brandner garnered one extra vote when the final absentee votes were counted in Richfield yesterday. His total now is 438. Final count will take place today at Washington County at Board of Canvass at 8:30 a.m.

The vote to break the tie for the second place candidate went to Danah Zoulek with an absentee ballot vote coming in Germantown. With one vote difference one can expect Dennis Myers to request a recount in the future.

Stay tuned for awhile, the race end is in sight.
